Pierre Guertin was born January 21, 1774, a son to Pierre Guertin and Marie-Angelique Alaire in Saint Ours, Richelieu, Canada-East.
Pierre married Marie Charlotte Verieul (Verieur, Vegeux) October 7, 1799 in Sorel, Richelieu, Quebec.
Pierre and Marie Charlotte had 13 children; Marie, Pierre, Joseph, Jean-Baptiste, Marie-Angele, David, Edouard, Marcel, Louise, Esthere, Marie-Florence, Marie-Sophie and Lucie.
He died October 26, 1858 in Saint Denis sur Richelieu, Quebec.
