She was born on 05 June 1935 in Ninety Six, Greenwood, South Carolina, USA and was the daughter of Annie Belle (Goodman) and Cecil Jackson Guest.
Shirley Guest married on 13 Mar 1960 to Kenneth Leckliter and they had had four children. They separated in 1970 but never divorced.

Shirley Leckliter, 77, of 235 Florida Ave., died Friday, March 8, 2013. Born in Ninety Six, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Annie Belle (Goodman) Guest. Shirley was a house wife.
Surviving are three sons, Richard Leckliter of Melbourne, FL., Michael Leckliter of Ninety Six and [private] Leckliter of Kissimmee, FL; a sister, [private] Dameron of Port Orange; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Jean Leckliter; a brother, Cecil Jack Guest; and a daughter-in-law, Debra Leckliter.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Davis officiating.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Leckliter, Richard Leckliter, Daniel Nava, Gary Leckliter, Ronnie Pardue and Michael Leckliter. The family will receive friends before the service at Harley Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10-30 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting
