According to the 1880 US Census for Dement, Ogle County, Illinois, Thomas Guest was a married sixty-year-old white Irish farmer there. His wife was a fifty-year-old Irish woman who was born in about 1830 in Canada. Thomas was born in Canada in about 1820 and died after 1880.
