In 1086 Richard Guet held of William de Warenne, the manor of Ovesham or Housham Hall in the parish of Matching, Essex and the manor of Quickbury in Sheering.[1]
In 1098 Richard gave the manor of Cowyk, Essex, to the monks of Bermondsey[2][3] and was probably interred in the conventual church or churchyard of Bermondsey.[2]
Mentioned as the brother of the wife of William de Warenne.[4][5]
