Biography

Henry "Hal" Guffey was born 4 May 1771 in Amherst, Virginia. He was the son of Ephraim Guffey and Nancy
He married Elizabeth Adams 21 Dec 1802 in Wayne, Kentucky.[1][2]
In the 1810 census Henry was in Wayne, Kentucky, United States.[3]
Henry was a veteran of the War of 1812.[4] He was a fist fighter and hog drover.
In the 1850 census Nenry (age 76) was in Dodge, Missouri, United States.[5]
