Biography

Michael was born in 1867 in Middlesbrough. He was the son of Daniel McGuigan Sarah Carabine His mothers maiden name is listed as Carabine on the GRO records. GUGAN, MICHAEL mother's maiden name CARABINE^[1]

In 1881 Michael a Scholar was living with his father Daniel a widower and Ironworker Puddler and siblings Daniel a Ironworker Puddler, John J a Scholar and William. The family were living at 75 Bulmer Street, Linthorpe. ^[2]

Michael married Eleanor Lawson (transcribed as Hellinor) on 1 Jul 1889 in Middlesbrough his father is listed as Daniel. ^[3]

In 1901 Michael a Stationary Engine Driver Works was living with his wife Eleanor and their children Harold, Ethel, Millicent and John W L. The family lived at 11 Marshall Street, Middlesbrough. ^[4]
