Emil Gugel was a 7th Day Adventist pioneer minister in Germany. He was a very strict father. He would not allow my grandmother (Ingeborg Gugel) to go to art school, or listen to music, as it was not allowed in the faith. He was a very quiet man. His father (Gottlieb Friedrich Gugel) was an inventor.

  • Personal recollection of Inge Bardsley on 23 Apr 1999.
