He was a herbalist and at the time of his death he was manager for J.A. Watts and Co.
He lived at 49 Good St Perth.
He had been walking from Jarrahdale to Mundijong while carrying two bags. He was not well and a passerby agreed to take one of his bags and leave it at Mundijong railway station. He was later found dead at the rear of Mundijong railway station. There was no suspicion of foul play.
