Biography
Ernest Louis Guidry was born in 1845 in Thibodaux and died about 1914. He inherited land near Bourg, Terrebonne, Louisiana from his father. He was married to Odelia Mary "Lucy" Champagne of Lafourche Crossing, Louisiana. He was a mechanical engineer, a farmer, and ran a flatboat business. He was in the Confederate Army.[1]
