Biography

CHARLES GUILBEAU is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on Plaque 3 Right. Listed with him is his first wife, Anne Trahan, and their son Jean Charles. Note: Jean Charles was born in 1771, and so I think the child who is the immigrant was the unnamed child on the 1766 census who must have died and not this boy.[1]

So, Jacqueline, are you saying in the note in the WON banner that the son on the WON died after 1766 and before 1771? And the boy profiled here is a second son with the same name? If so, shouldn't we have a profile for each of them? And should the second Jean Charles not have the WON banner?
