Robert was born 4 Aug 1873, Pleasant Valley, Canterbury, to William Guilford and Ann Benbow[1][2]
He married Annie Elizabeth Greenall 24 Aug 1905[3][4]
TIMARU HERALD, VOLUME LXXXII, ISSUE 12774, 5 SEPTEMBER 1905, PAGE 2 GUILFORD—GREENALL.—On August 24th, 1905, at St. Ann's Church. Pleasant Valley, Geraldine, South Canterbury, by the Rev. Staples Hamilton. Robert Guilford, second son of W. Guilford, of Tarata, Taranaki to Annie Elizabeth, second daughter of the late John Greenall, of Geraldine.[1]
They had a daughter Beatrice Ann in 1906 she died in 1907 aged 11 months[5][6]
TEMUKA LEADER, ISSUE 5527, 22 JUNE 1907, PAGE 2 GUILFORD.-On 19th June, at Geraldine, Beatrice Annie, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Guilford ; aged 11 months.[2]
