  • Buried in Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery in Plaucheville, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana in Section A, Row 8, Plot 8. His gravestone gives his date of birth as February 14, 1851 and date of death as November 27, 1920. The gravestone also contains the name of Euphemie Whitmore Guillory, his wife. She was born January 19, 1859 and died November 27, 1927. She is buried in Section A, Row 8, Plot 9, next to her husband.

By the time of the 1920 census Alphonse and Euphemia were living in Bunkie, LA, where Alphonse is listed as being a merchant and owning his own home (outright). Living with them were Edgar, Maria and Ollie.
