He married Marie Louise Fontenot, daughter of Jacques Fontenot and Rosalie Jeansonne

He married Aimee Deshotels, daughter of Jacques Deshotels and Felicite Fontenot, on 6 Sep. and on 1 Oct. 1822, the marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
