Marguerite (Guillot) Blanchard is a descendant of an Acadian

Marguerite Guillot, daughter of Fabien Guillot and Anne Josephe Girouard, was born 14 February 1797 in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. [1]

She married Jean Baptiste Bourg on 7 August 1815 in Assumption Parish.[2]

She married Elie Blanchard on 26 November 1826 in Assumption Parish, Louisiana.[3]

Marguerite and Elias had six children:

  1. Trasimond Elie Blanchard, 1828-1862
  2. Ursin Magloire Blanchard, 1829-1846
  3. Marie Josephine Blanchard, 1831-
  4. Jean Baptiste Octave Blanchard, 1833-1835
  5. Marie Aurore Blanchard, 1836-1890
  6. Evariste Blanchard, 1838-1931
