Marie's marriage is recorded as 21 Jan 1840 in Carleton Centre, Avignon, Québec, Canada. The original is hand written in French and has not been fully translated. However, one can tell the parents name of the groom and bride are written here. These church records, collected in the Drouin Collection, contain Marie's parents' name's, which allow to find her christening record, and this collection is the main source for most records of Marie's ancestors going back to 1621, including the first person of full European parents born in North America. Unfortunately, no further records for her husband, Alexandre have been found in this collection. [2]
