Biography

William Lunell Guinness was born in March 1779 in Beaumont, Dublin, his father, Arthur, was 53 and his mother, Olivia, was 36. Christened on 16 March 1779 at Beaumont Dublin, Ireland. He married Susanna Jane Newton on 10 April 1806 in Ireland. They had two children during their marriage. He died on 12 January 1842 in Dublin, at the age of 62, and was buried there.


Before 1839 he participated in management of the St. James's Gate brewery.
