Herbert Cecil Guinness was born in August 1880 in New Zealand, his father, John Guinness, was 30 and his mother, Winifred, was 33. He married Florence Martha Livesey in 1913 in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. He died on 2 August 1928 in Nelson at the age of 48, and was buried in Bromley, Canterbury New Zealand.

On 23 April 1880 Herbert Cecil Guinness was born to Winifred Gertrude and John Clephane Guinness in Pelorus, New Zealand. ^[1]

His father, John, was 30 and his mother, Winifred, was 33.

He married Florence Martha Livesey in 1913 in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage.
