Elizabeth ( Bessie) Guinness was born on 13 November 1813 in Douglas, Middle, her father, Edward Guinness was 41, and her mother, Margaret, was 38. She married her first cousin Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness on 24 February 1837. They had five children in 15 years. She died on 22 September 1865 in St Anne's Dublin,Ireland, at the age of 51, and was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery and Crematorium , Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
