Sub. Lt Patrick Robert Cecil Guinness was born on 10 July 1919 in Farnham, Surrey, his father, Capt., was 24 and his mother, Hannah, was 29. He married Patricia Rosemary Bernard in 1940 in Saffron Walden, Essex. He died on 13 February 1941 in Sea, Somerset, at the age of 21, and was buried in Portsmouth, Hampshire
