He was the son of Gonzalo Guito and Amelia Sanchez.
Gonzalo lived in Key West, with his family, until sometime after the 1920 US census,

Gonzalo A. Guito married Consuelo Montes Deoca December 28, 1925 in Tampa, Hillsborough, Florida, United States.[4] They had at least one child, a daughter Yolanda.
