Linda, Check out this profile.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ward-17543 I am looking for my Fanny Isobel Ward information. Two small Ward daughters of my grandfather's parents are buried next to a Thomas S Williams and his wife, Jane. I wonder if the J W Williams that is the last entry on that Bible page could be Jane Ward Williams who by the way lived in Alabama before coming to Attala County, MS.

Welcome! We are glad you are here!  Please let Kitty Smith know if you are interested in joining our DNA Project or our FTDNA Project.

If you have not done so, set your Followed preferences to include DNA.

It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to ‘private w/ public biography & family tree’ to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see  How to DNA on WikiTree

We also encourage you to join our Google+ Community for DNA discussions, questions & new information.

You might want to set your Privacy to Private with Public Bio & Family Tree. The WikiTree programming needs to see your Family Tree tab to make DNA and other cousin connections for you.

If you want to use the with DNA notation, you should use the Public Biography AND Family Tree so that the explanation of your triangulation method is publicly displayed.

Please take a look at my profile Charlotte Shockey where I use Private with Public Biography AND Family Tree & am able to get my other DNA connections.

Hello,

Welcome to the Wikitree family. Your "DNA Tested" badge indicates that you have taken a DNA test and that you probably have an interest in using your DNA results to uncover more about your family connections. We want to help you do that and have developed a few simple beginning steps for getting the most from your DNA test results.

1.) On your Wikitree profile enter your DNA test kit information if you have not already done so. To do this. click on the ."Add" tab select "DNA Test Information" and follow the instructions for entering your test(s).

2.) With autosomal tests also enter your optional Gedmatch ID if you have one. In the case of YDNA enter your optional YSearch ID or with mtDNA, your mitosearch ID if you have them. You can also enter Haplogroup information.

3.) Be certain the privacy settings on your Wikitree profile permit the sharing of your DNA and family tree with other potential genetic matches. Click the "Privacy" tab and set your level to " Private. with public tree" or "Private, with public tree and bio". Fot more information on privacy settings see, Wikitree privacy controls

4.) Build and expand your family tree.

There is a help section in Wikitree that will answer most questions you may have regarding DNA and its use on Wikitree. You can also ask specific questions in the G2G forum's. Good luck and happy searching

Just wanted to say help yourself to writing bio's on any of the Ward family that you have info on. I don't know much at all on any of them except for what David's Mom has told me in the couple of visits I made to her. I should have asked how they were by email but haven't thought to so let me ask now. How are they doing?

Linda I tried to add you as trusted to all my profiles that tie into your branch of the family. I have not added the "Dodd" family as they don't tie into me directly. Hopefully you have a tie of some sort to Col Coffey and can get him and his children added also.

I decided this was the best way to keep my 20+ years of research from getting tossed out or shoved back into a closet when I am no longer living. I hope you will find wikitree to your liking and simple to use. If I can help you in any way or there are things I have left out or not documented please feel free to change or add as you like.
