Researchers Notes
From: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LBRG-7NF
Some say he was born circa 1643, in Derby, Derbyshire, England and that his mother was Thomasine Painter. This seems unlikely and requires confirming sources. Four additional children are listed on FamilySearch.org

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:
Gullett-42 and Guilette-6 do not represent the same person because: Merge needs to be other way around due to sources say name is Gullett so the Guillet should merge into Gullett 42 not the other way around. Since this is a name change and not the same last name lower number does not apply here Guilett 6 is only source is a family tree where as Gullett has source of christening from England. So in this case once you merge into Gullett 42 as the final number I will happily approve merge and complete the merge
I did propose that Guillet be merged into Gullet-42, but it was rejected. I am proposing a second time that Gullett-42 be the "correct" profile. Guilette may be entered as an "other" last name. If you still don't like that answer, you can merge and reverse the direction. In doing so, Guilette-6 would then be the final WikiTree id.
