Biography
Saamund Gulliksen Rogndalen was born at Rogndalen, Drangedal, Telemark in about 1713, the son of Gunleik and Taran of Rogndalen. He was married at Drangedal on 12 Mar 1747[1] to Ragnhild Tjostolvsdatter Homlei, with whom he had six children. He died at Skaardal, Lunde, Telemark in 1792.[2]
