Biography

Giuseppe was probably born before 1801 ^[1]. He married Calogera Drago ^[2] aka Livoti ^[3] and they had several children. Giuseppe died between September/ October 1822 and 4 July 1823 ^[4].

Research Notes

It is clearly established that he married Calogera Drago aka Calogera Livoti. We know this because his daughter Giuseppa has a birth record naming Calogera Drago as her mother, and the death record a year later naming the mother Calogera Livoti. See comments under daughter Giuseppa's profile Giuseppa Gulotta-316 for more rationale.

Calogera's 1823 birth record indicates that her father is deceased, so he would have died within 9 months prior to her birth. There is no death record for Giuseppe in that time period (although non-local deaths recorded in the Diversi file have not yet been checked. My patience is spent.).
