Lucia Gulotta, the daughter of Bernardo Gulotta and Maria di Carlo, who married in 1826, is born on 3 September 1840 in Corleone.[1]
Lucia marries Sebastiano Salvaggio, son of the late Epifanio Salvaggio and the living Anna Maria di Bartolo, on 28 April 1862. Her mother has died by this time.[2]
Lucia and Sebastiano are contadini (peasants). They have at least three children: Anna Maria (c. 1864), Maria (c. 1877), and Biagio (c. 1885).
Anna Maria marries Leoluca di Carlo on 28 July 1884.[3]
When Maria Salvaggio marries Castrenze Cascio on 4 November 1893, both of her parents are living, and her father's age is given as 54. I've estimated his birth year as 1839. Because Lucia's age is not provided on her daughter's marriage record, I've estimated that she was born after her husband in 1839. Because both parents are known to be living in 1893, I've indicated that Lucia's death comes after this date.
Biagio marries Salvatrice Provenzano on 6 March 1905.[4]
