Colin Stanley Gum was born at Adelaide, South Australia in 1924, son of Stanley Stuart Edgar Gum, who died that year, son of Thomas Gum and Mary Jane Treweek and Ivy Olive Storr, daughter of Henry Storr and Emma Riley, who were married the previous year.[1][2]
Colin Gum passed away in 1960 after a skiing accident in Switzerland. His memorial plaque is at Enfield Memorial Park, Clearview, Adelaide.
