Elise was born in 1894, the daughter of Hans Gundersen and Sara Berg.[1]
Elise returned to Australia on the 20 August 1915 aboard the Maloja.[2]
Elise was a Masseuse with the AANS during WW1. She volunteered for service overseas but was retained in Australia from 28 March 1916 to 22 April 1919. She had duty at 12th AGH (Launceston,Tasmania), duty at 11th AGH (Caufield Military Hospital), duty at 16th AGH (Mont Park, Victoria). Her appointment was terminated 22 April 1919.[3]
In 1919, Elise Erica Janet Gundersen married Gordon Campbell Beavis.[4]
She passed away in 1950, aged 55.[5]
