Mitton-145, and Minton-166 are ready for merging but I am not sure they should be merged.

There a note in 145 that references a Ancestry source that I CANNOT get to or see. Someone that can and knows Minton's, should do this.

Hi Susan, thank you for your message. Yes, there is an easier way. It's called GEDCOM. Here are the instructions.

Here's a link to a great:step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'. [edit] DNA Test. Good Luck.

Hello Susan,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Hi Susan, Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the Help section or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, Patt

I am researching my families roots in pre-revolutionary USA. Many of my relatives came after the American revolution and settled along the Niagara Escaptment founding towns such as Port Rowan. I have documented histories for several of my family members going back as far as 1727 in Minisink, Orange, New York.
