I am a 10th generation direct descendant of Thomas Gunn who arrived in New England in May 1630 aboard the ship Mary and John. I have been researching that Gunn line and associated lines for more than 20 years. See my web site "Thomas Gunn Family" at http://thomasgunnfamily.com

My wife Linda has been DNA Tested and Is descended from Peter White, Clarissa's father. If we could find a descendant of Clarissa and Alford that has had a DNA test there should be a match.
I notice, however, that most of your new profiles are still UNSOURCED. I'm sure you intend to go back and add sources, but many of us who have had those good intentions have failed to follow through, with the result that WikiTree has a huge problem with unsourced profiles. See the recent forum discussions https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/282105/ and https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/310329/ for indications of how upset WikiTreers can get about unsourced profiles. Please add sources when you create profiles (and go back to your recent creations before it's too late!).
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Thanks for adding profiles to WikiTree! When you are ready, do you know how to add sources for your info? Here's a page with more information about sourcing: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

Here's how to add family profiles. You'll get the hang of WikiTree faster if you familiarize yourself with the green tabs near the top of each profile.
If you feel lost, ask a question in our G2G forum. Most WikiTree members are happy to help a fellow genealogist.
Here's the G2G Question of the Week: Do you use a genealogy program?
If you want EVEN MORE to do, check out these volunteer options.

Welcome to the WikiTree family! The initial email from us has useful links that will get you started.
WikiTree is different because we have One Big Tree. Our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a single collaborative team. Our Honor Code is the key.
I'll confirm your membership in a few minutes. Then, after signing the Honor Code, you'll be able to add new profiles to the tree.
Carole
P.S. I'm always happy to answer questions.
