REUBEN GUNN was born on 1 Nov 1752 in Germany. It is thought he arrived in America at the port of Charleston, South Carolina about 1754. He is listed in the DAR Patriot’s Roll of Honor for his Revolutionary War service. In 1769, Reuben married Mary Hudson Goforth (1754-1816) in Caswell, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Miles Goforth and Mary Brown Hall. Reuben died May 3, 1822 in Dickson, Tennessee. There are no burial details.
