Biography
He was the son of Charles Gunn and Charity Pettibone.
In 1850 he was living in Lafayette, Onondaga, New York, United States[1] The household included Charles 32, Jane 27, Spencer 6, George 4, Charles 2, and Wm Alexander 22. Charles was a farmer. William was a laborer.
After wife Jane died he married second Lodema Wilcox.
In 1855 he was living in Clarence, Erie, New York, United States.[2] The household included Charles Gunn 36, wife Lodema Gunn 22, child Spencer Gunn 10, child George Gunn 8, child Charles Gunn 6, child Albert Gunn 4, and child Ma* Gunn 0. Charles was a farmer. All were born in Onondaga County except for infant M? born in Erie County.
In 1860 he was enumerated in Onondaga, Ingham, Michigan, United States.[3] The household included Charles Gunn 41, Lodema Gunn 27, George Gunn 15, Charles Gunn 13, Albert Gunn 10, Davius Gunn 4, and Wales Gunn 2. Charles was a farm laborer. All were born in New York except Wales born in Michigan.
In 1870 he was living in Coldwater Township, Branch, Michigan, United States.[4] The household included Jennie Gunn 7, Hampton Gunn 5, Jasper Gunn 4, Charles Gunn 52, Lodema Gunn 38, Charles Gunn 18, Albert Gunn 18, Darius Gunn 13, and Hiram Gunn 11. Charles, son Charles, Albert and Darius were farm laborers.
