Elizabeth was born in Swanscombe, Kent before 29 Jun 1856 which is the date of her christening. She was the daughter of Robert Gunner and Elizabeth Burnell. In December 1882, Elizabeth married James Rowe. Please refer to Research Note regarding children. Elizabeth passed away in 1919.
Research Note
According to the 1911 census, 4 children were born to Elizabeth and James, but only 2 survived as of 1911. The 1891 Census suggests that oldest daughter, Elizabeth, was born about 1880, perhaps 2 years prior to their marriage, but we can find no birth/christening record for either Elizabeth Gunner or Elizabeth Rowe from that year. Daughter Emily was born in 1884.
