William was born about 1807. In the 1851 census [1], he was married to Mary Ann, with children Christopher 12, Jane Ann 6, Sarah 4, Thomas 2 and Eliza 1. William passed away in 1875.

In the 1861 Kitley Agricultural Census, William is on Conc 4 Lot 10 [2], with Thomas Gunness on the other 100 acres same lot. Note Eliza Harrison next door on lot 11. What relationship was there between William and Thomas? On the 1861 Kitley personal census, William was on line 30, age 53 and Thomas was on line 27 age 40 with widowed Catherine aged 60
