Biography

Peter Gunning son of farmer, Peter Gunning, and his wife, Katherine Baker, was baptised at Strood in Kent on 1 December 1819. ^[1] Aged 21 in 1841 he was still at home with his parents, living at Bill St in Frindsbury.^[2]

He married Jane Valentine while he was in Australia. ^[3] Their son, Alfred, was born in Victoria about 1861, Walter was born in England about 1863. ^{[4] [5]}

Peter died in 1887. ^[6]
