Biography

Cora was born in 1918, a daughter of Glover Edward Gunter and Eliza Ellen Thompson, of Lee County, North Carolina.^[1] She passsed away in 1975 and is buried in Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Asheboro, North Carolina.^[2]

She is listed in the 1930 US Census as living in Troy, Montgomery County, North Carolina, with her mother and step-father, siblings by her natural father and a half-sibling by her step-father:^[3]

She married Paul Albert Webb, and they made their home in Mt. Gilead, Montgomery County, North Carolina. They had five children:

• Un-named female, born 04 Sep 1952, premature lived only a single day.^[9][10]

At some unknown time and circumstances, she left Paul Albert Webb and married Paul Lenward Hill; it is presumed that she remained married to him until her death in 1975. They did not have any children together.

It is most likely that she was living in Asheboro, North Carolina at the time of her death, as her last husband was a member of the church where they are buried.
