Scone Advocate (NSW: 1887 - 1954), Friday 5 December 1924, page 2 OBITUARY. MRS. G. CUMMING. The death took place in the town suddenly, and under very sad circumstances, last evening, of Mrs. Cumming, the young, wife of Mr. Gordon Cumming, of Davis Creek. The youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs. Samuel Gunter, worthy old residents of Moonan Flat, the deceased was for some years on the Moonan staff of Messrs. M. Campbell and Co., Ltd., and was known affectionately by all acquaintances on the Upper Hunter. The bereaved husband and parents have much sympathy in the sorrowful occurrence. The hand of affliction has fallen heavily upon the parents, who in recent years have lost four of their children when in the very prime of life. The funeral will leave St. Luke's Church of England to-morrow (Sat.) at 2 p.m.
