Biography

Olive Gurley, daughter of Ephraim Gurley and Bethia (Brooks) Gurley of Mansfield, Connecticut, married John Winchester of Manchester, Connecticut, February 20, 1820. She was the mother of 3 children: Fidelia Maria (born June 25, 1821), Catherine Antoinette (born April 16, 1824), and Edwin Gurley (born April 1, 1827). Olive Gurley Winchester died Ocotber 19, 1827 at the age of 34 years. After her death, John Winchester married Olive Gurley's sister, Sophia.
