Biography
When William J. Gurley was born on August 6, 1875, in Georgia, his father, Jessie, was 30 and his mother, Frances, was 28. He had three brothers and four sisters. He died on September 16, 1899, in Cullman, Alabama, at the age of 24, and was buried in Logan, Alabama.
