Biography
Priscilla was a Friend (Quaker)
- Priscilla Hannah Gurney (1757-1828) was the daughter of Joseph Gurney and Christiana Barclay.
- She was a Quaker minister. Though both her parents came from established Quaker families she stated they had become lax in their observation of their faith in her autobiography.
- She died aged 68 on the 17th of November 1828 at Bath and was buried on the 26th of November 1828 in the Quaker burial ground near St Mary Redcliffel, Bristol. Her death and burial were recorded by North Somerset Quaker Monthly Meeting.[1]
