Lydia was born about 1690. She married Rev. Jonas Auren in November 1710.[1] They had sons Benedict (1711) and William (1713).[2] Her husband died in mid February 1713, and she passed away later that year. See Research Notes regarding uncertain details.
Her birth year was estimated very roughly based on the fact that she married in 1710, and her parents married about 1683. Another source states that she married on May 16, 1709, and gives both herself and her father a different first name (Herself: Keady. Her father: William, which is the name of one of her brothers).[2] That same source is in obvious error concerning her husband's death, so it is not deemed fully reliable. The names of their sons has only been found in that source, but we know of their existence and rough age from other sources. Again, the dates for their births are questionable. However, their names are believed to be correct: Benedict, born 1711, and William, born 1713. This source also states that she passed away on August 29, 1713, and their son William five days later.
