Student in Uppsala 1659. Member of Uppland Regiment 1672. Lieutenant there. 1673. Captain Lieutenant 1676. Captain the same year. Major 1678. Lieutenant Colonel at Jämtland's dragon regiment 1679. Colonel for the same regiment 1705. Honorable discharge in 1710. Died 11 Sep 1722[2] and buried 30 Sep 1722 with both his wives in Odensvi church.
Married for the first time in the 1680s to the Baroness Maria Magdalena Ulfsparre af Broxvik, born in the 1660s. Died November 1, 1693 in Österby and buried February 18, 1694 in Odensvi Church, daughter of the governor, free lord Åke Ulfsparre af Broxvik, and his first wife, the free lord Christina Stake.
Married the second time to Countess Maria Sperling born in 1671, daughter of the Field Marshal and the Governor General, Liberal Göran Sperling, Count Sperling, and his first wife Ingeborg Lilliehöök af Fårdala, Liberal Lilliehöök.
