↑ Second-Hand Information, Most of my first genealogy information, which was very detailed information on the ancestors was given to me in 1982 by my Mother, Marlene G. Packer Kester. She was the family historian of the families, long before we had computers, the Internet, and genealogy computer programs. Virgil "Don" Kester III
↑ Back in about 2000-2001, my Mother Marlene G. Packer-Kester and I obtained a hand written family tree chart from her mother Gertrude Packer, which was in German, and had Gertrude Packer's Ancestors listed. I am attempting to locate the photocopy I had made of it, but the original was returned to Grandma Gertrude Packer. I had asked my Mother about this great document after Gertrude Packer had passed away in 2005, but have not heard any further information about it. Virgil "Don" Kester III
