I think I understand that you are not suggesting there are errors in our accounts of the two men, but advising of the conflation that some people make. If so, I appreciate your letting me know. If there is a concern, please let me know and I'll take a closer look. My view so far has been on my phone so it is harder to see the picture that way.

I have traced the Guthrie line connected with the Beasley family to Woody and Arlo. This Beasley lineage is not connected with mine, but I include it as part of the Surname Study. This was an especially interesting process that began with a three-way conflation of William Beasleys. As it turns out, one went from SC to GA, one from NC to KY to TN, and one from GA to LA to TX. This one was the NC to KY to TN. It eventually led to hooking up an earlier Beasley lineage from Eng to VA then disappearing. We found him there in Surry CO NC.

I want to add a note that this Shadrach and Shardrick Guthrie-4550 often get confused. Both born in Kentucky and died in Texas, both married Culpepper girls. However they have definitely different birth and death dates and death locations. They also both have documented marriage records. They have different parents.
