Biography

Cecil was born in Franklin Township, Ohio on April 6, 1911 to Issac and Florence Courson Gutridge. He was the oldest of four known children born to the couple.

Cecil was raised in Franklin Township and Bowling Green Township, Ohio. He was a farmer. On March 31, 1934 he married Mary Trout in Perry County, Ohio. They settled on a farm in Bowling Green Township, Ohio. They had two known children (although likely more than that).

Cecil passed away on March 14, 1994 in Newark, Ohio. He was 82 years old. He is buried alongside his wife in Franklin Township Lutheran Cemetery in Newark, Ohio.
