Biography

Died 21 FEB 1791. No. 227.

Note: Dějiny Židů v Táboře (History of the Jews in Tabor), page 626: http://hugogold.com/bohemiatabor.pdf. Jewish census HBS 1783 Táborsko (image 40): http:/pvh.ff.cuni.cz/zidiTaborsko_1783.pdf. Jewish census HBS 1793 Táborsko, p. 394 (image 90): http:/pvh.ff.cuni.cz/zidiTaborsko_1793.pdf. Also with David there is the problem that it is not clear whether he was married once or twice. In the Census 1793 his widow is called Rachl, in all other documents Veronika. In the Familiantenbuch HBF 148, f. 131 (image 73): http://www.badatelna.eu/fond/2098/reprodukce/?zaznamId=401668&reproId=589491 we can read that widow Veronika received the marriage license in 1788. This would mean that she was the second wife of David and not the mother of his children. But in the years 1788 and 1789 there is no marriage entry and in HBF 148, f. 145 (image 81): http://www.badatelna.eu/fond/2098/reprodukce?zaznamId=401668&reproId=589515 we can read that she is the mother of Emanuel, who according of his death entry was born about 1780. Probably the date of the marriage permission in the Familiantenbuch is wrong. But this is not 100% sure. Death HBMa 2042, p. 2 (image 4): http://badatelna.eu/fond/1073/reprodukce?zaznamId=2704&reproId=134308.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with David by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with David:
