Elizabeth died of typhus (acute infectious feverish disease)

David Sligo 1828-1902 1st wife was Elizabeth Guy (1833-1868) Elizabeth died of typhus (acute infectious feverish disease). On the 6th August 1868.

Their children were Catherine Henderson Sligo, born 17th July 1863 at Yarrow and Euphemia Hogg Guy Sligo born March 1868 at Yarrow. Catherine Henderson Sligo died 24th December 1949 at the Eventide Nursing Home, Loanhead. She had been married to Angus Hogarth a farm servant.

Euphemia Hogg Guy Sligo died 19th April 1914 at the Royal Edinburgh Infirmary. She had been married to a ploughman called John Wright. The couple had lived on a farm at Prestonkirk.
