Biography
Robert Guy was born in Paisley, Renfrewshire on 21 January 1852. He was the son of John Guy and Agnes Hillcoat.
At the time of the 1861 Scotland Census, John, Angus, Robt, Jane, Agnes, and John Crawford Guy were listed as living in Eastwood, Renfrewshire, along with Agnes' father Robert Hilcoll and two servants.[1]
Robert married Lucy Ord.
Robert died in Kilmacolm, Inverclyde on 20 July 1920, and was buried in Kilmacolm Cemetery.[2] At the time of his death, Robert was Sherriff-Clerk of Lanarkshire.[3]
