Biography

She was born in the German speaking part of Switzerland. She emigrated to the United States in 1881, arriving at New York on 18 May from Le Havre, France. She married three times. Her first marriage, in 1884, was to an (Unknown) Meyer (b. 1866 in Germany; d. 1894). There is some doubt as to the exact date of her third marriage. Her record states 20 Jul 1905 whereas that of her husband John P Beardall states it as 2 Jul 1905.
