The family was stilll in Beaubassin in 1707[4] but not in the census of 1714.
François died on Feb 17, 1718 in Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France, aged about 20. His name was spelled Gaudin.[5]
