Fanny was born in 1809 in Kentucky. [1]
She was the daughter of John Gwaltney, Sr and Anna Murphy, who were from North Carolina. [2] She married James Cox and Her children's names were Anna, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jesse, John Cox, Harris Cox. Cynthia, and Nancy. [1]She passed away in 1894 in Indiana. [1][3] Her grave is in Cox Cemetery, Posey, Indiana. [4]
